When perfect summer weather, good friends, genuine, seasonal food, pleasant views and a casual atmosphere come together, a good time is to be had: Sunday was one of those days, one of those extremely delightful and wonderfully relaxed afternoons.
Privileged to have Jane, Ken and Casey as our guests at GENIUS LOCI, several friends came for a potluck lunch. Judith drove from Città di Castello, Rita and Lino from Tuscany, Barbara and Art from San Venanzo, all bringing wonderful and delicious dishes inspired by summer's bounty to grace the buffet table and to delight our senses of color, taste and scent. Some brought fine wines and prosecco to be added to our Genius Loci wines which were shared and enjoyed by all.

Mary, both you and Barb beat me to posting about this!! But then, I've been traveling. We had such a wonderful time with all of you and your inn is exquisite. See you next year.
