This is proving to be a good season, a busy summer at Genius Loci! Nevertheless, there have been a few “holes", days with no guests. Michael, Mar and I try to make them pool days, combining them with leisure lunches and dinners on the porch as we linger on late into the balmy evenings.

Lazy summer days...sometimes. Glorious summer days with Genius Loci all to ourselves. As the inn becomes more known, they may become a rarity. Of course, that would mean we are doing things right. While it is lovely to have the inn a few days in the summer season all to ourselves, it is just as pleasant for us to see our guests enjoying the inn the way we do on those rare no-guests days.
