While there is no doubt that cooking lessons are a big job (so much planning, executing, concentrating, conversing, explaining, remembering, laughing, overseeing, timing) they are always fun. Naturally, the fun comes from the interaction with good-natured, enjoyable and interesting people who are open to and eager for new ideas and for a chance to see first-hand the execution of recipes which are of particular interest to them.

One of the cooking lessons last week was one of these particularly fun times with extremely enjoyable guests from San Francisco, two of whom are moving soon to Long Beach, the city where I grew up. We had fun with a Tris of Pasta Sauces along with a meat and vegetable dish and a traditional tiramisù. Thanks, J and D and J - I especially enjoyed our "fun in the kitchen" and our meal together!

Are those aprons "trophies" from the cooking class or did your guests bring them for the occasion? Is it a requirement that couples wear matching aprons?

Guests always enjoy choosing their own aprons from our assortment. We will get you and Palma matched up! Do you want the rooster apron, Brad?
