The joy of the season was never ending. While Mar was still busy both with her Early Music History course for Music Majors and with her Directorship at the Institute for the Arts and Humanities (www.iah.psu.edu), Maurizio and I enjoyed exploring the area and its delights. We had daily outings planned, often stopping in on either a class, a lecture, an art exhibition, a friend, a master class, a team-taught seminar, spending long hours at bookstores and over coffee and the NYT...or simply admiring the beauty of the winter wonderland, something we are NOT used to!

We also enjoyed helping out our busy daughter by running errands for her, doing the grocery shopping and even fixing dinner for her on occasion.
