How could I not want to be part of this initiative, an idea of our friend, Diana? Diana so often inspires and encourages me to find and "set free" some aspect of the inner me.

Today? I am grateful for true summer weather which makes using the pool, living and eating outdoors, and cooking up summer's remarkable bounty of fruit and vegetables an enormous joy.

I am grateful to have my four-member-family still together for another week when Mar goes back to her fulfilling life in PA.

I am grateful for SO MANY guests from all around the world who touch my life in such varied but meaningful ways and who enlighten me on their parts of the world, on their particular reality enhancing my existence.

I am grateful for some new friendships with some far-away people with whom I share values and interests.

I am grateful for those of you who "check-in" on me so thoughtfully to see how I am doing with my knee pain.

I am grateful for such a lovely home built with such love and care by my husband to ensure our well-being and for the garden which fills me with daily joy and homegrown, organic foods.

I am grateful for my summer flowers, a rage of color brightening my days

...and I am grateful for this opportunity to voice my gratitude! May we all dwell on the positive and give thanks on Gratitude Friday and EVERYday.
