My daughter returns to her life as professor at Penn State University tomorrow after a couple months in Europe. I give thanks for this huge blessing - for a daughter who embodies and exemplifies the values I hold dearest: integrity, commitment, seriousness of purpose, independent thinking, creativity, intellectual pursuit, kindness and caring.
I give thanks for our "easy togetherness", our memorable travels together, our meaningful sharing. I am so proud to be her mother!

Mary this post makes me teary. I'm so happy that you have had this precious time with your daughter who is wonderful because she was raised by such great parents, I'm sure. Lovely that you have been able to share this time with her.
