I am fortunate to have a very large garden with viali which cut through and around - perfect for daily walks in the ever-changing seasonal beauty

festive, succulently beautiful Chinese bamboo (nandina) berries

two types of ivy berries

one of many patches of heavenly scented wild violets

the intriguing mahonia (Oregon grape holly) blossom

a remarkably tiny "occhio della madonna" blossom - as intricate as it is tiny

tender spring leaves with delicate hues or raging reds

my daffodils "coming along" on schedule for Mar's March 13th birthday.

Precious little Virgola, basking in the spring sun, eyes closed, after our walk today. She is my loyal walking partner as she happily and proudly explores and keeps an eye on her territory.

Mary, your photos are exquisite. You truly have an artist's eye for beauty and detail.
I hope Virgola is doing well after last fall's crisis -- she certainly looks well!
