With these very warm spring days, there is lots of new growth in the garden. Seemingly overnight, weeds of all sorts...some quite unusual and beautiful, catch my attentiion as I make my morning rounds with a mug of cappuccino.
How lovely it is to have the windows all open, to hear the concert of birds outside, to cook looking out on the splendor of the spring colors:
sausage and mushroom lasagne
fresh artichokes with tarocco orange slices, garlic and parsley
