SOUTH TYROL - A PREVIEW

South Tyrol, the spoils of World War I was annexed from Austria. Nevertheless, it has a Special Statue and has NOT lost its Austrian heritage (language, customs and history...and cherished traditions and food. It butts up against the southern side of the Alps (no insignificant matter as far as weather is concerned) and shares the magnificent Dolomites.
