Off to Paso Robles (again)

I am starting to sound like a broken record - off to Paso Robles to have another yard sale and clean out my folks' house.

But, there is light at the end of the tunnel because this time we are going to finally sell the furniture and completely clear out the house so we can paint and put it up for sale.

Hopefully, the car will sell too.

My sister and I have been at this for several years - our Mom died in August 2005 and our Dad a year later. So, we are anxious to finish the project, but we are sad too because it is truly the end of an era.

I hope to be able to blog from there, but if I don't, I will check in when I get home next Tuesday.

Barb Cabot:

Nancy, Good luck to you. It's nice to have a sibling or two during these times. Our parents house is now in escrow and will hopefully close mid May providing there are no glitches. The house is completely empty now except for one glass table and a Japanese silk screen which I'll keep. I know exactly how you feel. It's a closing of a huge chapter in our lives. Best of luck to you with the future plans.

Nancy, have a good trip. I hope you accomplish all you set out to do.

Good luck. This is never easy. It is good that you are doing it in stages. Hopefully you'll get a moment to do something fun while you are in Paso.

Hope you accomplished everything that you set out to do!

Hope it went well. You have had much to do, but sounds like there is light at the end of the tunnel!
