A Winelover's Wanderings

I can't help it - I am just so excited that Donny Osmond and his partner Kym Johnson came out on top of the Dancing with the Stars competition! Here's the story.

Mya was probably the best dancer - she looked like a professional on the dance floor. But come on - Donny is almost 52 years old, more than 20 years older than Mya and 25 years older than Kelly Osbourne (the other two finalists)!

It is a brutal competition, with lots of contestants sustaining injuries. Hundreds of hours of practice. Physical pain and mental misgivings. But, the "old guy" persevered. He wanted to win that mirror ball trophy!

So, today I salute Donny!
