Diana of Creative Structures started Gratitude Friday to encourage us to see the good in our lives rather than dwell on the not-so-good. And, coincidentally, the thing I am grateful for today was arranged by Diana during our trip to Piemonte last September.
It was a winetasting tour of the Acqui Terme area, conducted by Diana's husband Micha. I blogged about it here. The highlight of the day was a winetasting at the home of Domenico Botto, a small wine producer there. Here I am with Domenico.
Sadly, Domenico passed away in March, a tremendous loss for all who knew him. Both Diana and Jerry wrote tributes to this amazing man.
I am so grateful that we had the chance to meet Domenico and share some of his wonderful wines. It is a memory that I will treasure.
