The last Iris Festival we attended was in Florence in 2006. We scheduled our time in Florence so we could be there during the days that the Iris Festival was being held. Here is the blog entry I wrote about it last year.
That was then and this is now! Last weekend the Yucaipa Iris Festival was held in our area. We have a lot of irises on our property, and they are almost finished blooming, but we decided to go anyway. After all, they were also holding a gem show and a CAR SHOW! Classic cars - I LOVE classic cars!
This car immediately caught my eye (I wonder why) - a 32 Ford.
Bill is checking out this white beauty - a 48 Chevy convertible.
And here's a 27 Chevy 4-door sedan.
Three beautiful vintage trucks.
And look at these two (Sorry, I didn't write down the info on them).
But, like the first one, this one caught my eye and was my very favorite of the day - a 37 Ford coupe.
Oh, yes, there WERE flowers. Although the planted irises were just about bloomed out, there was a cut flower show (irises and other blooms) that were very beautiful.

Love your photos! What an unusual combo - flowers and vintage cars. I love that aqua colored truck!
