Make lemon pasta!

Brad walked in with these from our tree. BIG puppies! Hmmmm, what can I do with them? Another lemon cake? Nah, we just had one. I peered in the fridge and decided I could throw a few ingredients together for a lemon pasta sauce. I cooked my FAVORITE pasta: FAT spaghetti with a whole down the center. (I could do a while blog on the various names for these, but I will call them bucatini.)
I took a scoop (serving spoon) of marscapone cheese, the zest from two lemons, a splash of milk, and a handful of grated Romano cheese and stirred it in a small pan util almost boiling. I added more lemon zest, and a little more cheese, and we had a very tasty lemon pasta!

This is a lovely dish! I wish you would consider entering it in our event called "festa italiana". I know others would love this also :)

Palma, that looks so good. I love anything with lemon on it, in it, around it.....in Rome in January, I bought a medium-sized jar of lemon preserves mainly because it had a mouth-water slice of sugared lemon on top! I only realized far too late that I paid something like $12 for this jar of jam -- but I was seduced by the lemon.

Sounds delicious. I love bucatini pasta - in fact there's even a restaurant here in Santa Barbara called Bucatini that is really fabulous.
