I love the tradition of smocks to protect their clothing. It makes so much sense.

Love the smocks "field trip uniform". Makes it easy for the teachers to see when one wanders off to join another group or not keep up. :) Saw the same idea in Kyoto years ago... bright yellow ones there.

I love watching Italian school groups on tour when we're in Italy. It brings back soooo many memories of my classroom days.

Somehow I forgot to comment on your photo yesterday. What a delightful group of little children. They are so cute in their blue smocks. Great choice for the "together" theme.
