It was an experiment. We decided to try whole wheat pizza dough. I like whole wheat bread, so why not?

I HATED it! Brad wasn't crazy about it either. I ate a piece, then forced down a second, since that was dinner.

Usually if there is lots of cheese on almost anything, I will eat it. This was just mozzarella, portobellos and red chili flakes. It looked good. Brad took the rest for lunch, but we won't be doing THAT again.

Palma-Your pizza does look really good-too bad it didn't taste that way to you. I hate it when I try things, and I don't like them. Especially when they're a little healthier.

Bummer. I made a whole wheat pizza dough from Cooking Light; it wasn't bad. But for the difference in fiber/calories, I'd just as soon use regular.

Good to experiment, sometimes you come up with winners. But win or lose I still think it looks magnificent and oh so good.

Palma, I agree with you 100%. We try to avoid all white carbs, but I cannot cope with whole wheat pizza or whole wheat pita.
