It was a fun and busy weekend in San Diego, as I co-hosted a wedding shower for Sarah and Casey. My happy Godchildren loved their flip-flop cookie favors.
I also got to hang out all weekend with my "sisters" Connie (right), and Joy (who flew in from Stockton).

Ok...let's get to the food! That's why you are here! Appetizers included hot crab dip, brie with guava jam and macademia nuts, and palmiers with gruyere and ham.

The main dishes were Hawaiian chicken and coconut shrimp.

The sauce for the shrimp was mustard, honey and orange marmalade.
There were two fruit platters with pina colada dip.
Dip: 8 oz cream cheese, 2 pina colada yogurts, a splash of coconut rum! YUM

Mango-papaya bread was a hit!

The rice salad recipe, I am saving for my salad week. Rice, snow peas, mandarin oranges, red pepper, green onion, and an easy asian dressing.

The Asian slaw was cabbage and broccoli slaw with fruit, Asian dressing and macademia nuts.

Tomorrow...dessert!

OMG! What a feast!
It looks like you outdid yourself, Palma - if that is even possible!
Good job (and I haven't even seen the desserts yet!).
