After our morning in Spoleto, we returned to Montefalco for lunch at Alchemista, a great restuarant on the piazza.

We tried a variety of pasta dishes, but the desserts were great too. Here is my pappardelle with cinghale sauce.

Brad had a chocolate brownie tower with gelato and espresso poured over the top.

I had a yummy lemon semifreddo with fresh fruit.

mmmmmmm - cinghiale - I've missed my fix! The food looks amazing - lucky Brad to have all of that chocolate.

One of my favorite restaurants of our trip 2 years ago!! I have been in a permanent food frenzy for the last 10 days reading about your trip and seeing the pictures. Fabulous! Hope the end will mark the beginning of great new adventures in the future!! Best wishes

Yummmmm. I had the same dish (papappardelle with cinghale sauce) at L'Alchimista a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful night and I was so happy to be able to sit outside on the square.
