Sunday Small Bites #5: Goat Cheese


I kept it quick and easy this week. It was a delicious result I took to a friend's house on Saturday.

Figs with Goat Cheese:

4 oz. goat cheese, softened
3 T. lemon honey
zest from one lemon
crumbled pistachios for garnish

Combine goat cheese, honey and lemon zest. Spread or pipe mixture on to fresh fig halves, and top with crumbled pistachios. YUM! Fresh and easy!

Sounds really yummy and easy enough that I maybe able to handle it. :)

These look so good. I've never had lemon honey. I wish I could get fresh figs so I could make these. I guess you could use plump dried figs for this also-do you think that would work?

Two of your favorite things - goat cheese and figs!

It may have been easy but it looks beautiful and oh so yummy!

Cindy, they might be more dessert-like with dried figs, but still delicious.

I love quick and easy and figs, too!
