This week's selection was shared by Sheri. This soup has veal meatballs, or "dumplings", as they are cooked in the broth. I deleted the beans and tomatoes, and used some extra broth. It is a good, quick soup for a cool or rainy evening. You can find the recipe here:
What I didn't mention yet (as to not scare you into running away from your computer), is that this is a Rachel Ray recipe. Yes, she is the perky, talkative young woman who has a show on the Food Network. You can't live in America and not know who she is! Even if you do not WATCH foodie TV, she is everywhere! You may see her on the screen at the gym, and they play her non-stop on monitors in my supermarket's produce section. I get my veggies, fruits, and then quickly get to a safer part of the store. Did I say she was talkative? That is an understatement. I am talkative. She is annoyingly a motor-mouth who never stops for air! Anyway, despite the fact that this came from Rachel, it is a great soup.

Rachel Ray bugs me but this soup looks so welcoming and hearty. Wish I had some right now. and by the way the lamb shank looked fantastic. Oh that Brad...what a lucky man!
