We just missed being in Bologna together by one year. LOL I hope, while you're there, you're able to explore the ER area, especially Dozza, a charming and magical town with painted walls. It was a highlight for me and colleenk.

I know you'll have a blast eating, shopping, meeting with a great group of STer's and a great opportunity for your language class.

I can't believe once again we are missing each other in Bologna. I need to get my butt in gear and write that post about the new gelateria I discovered. I still like Grom the best for their amazing espresso and pistacchio gelato (two of my favorite flavors) but this other place, which seems to be very popular with the locals has amazing nocciola.
