We did most of our celebrating birthdays last weekend in Las Vegas. On our REAL birthdays, we had each person's requested dinners at home. Monday night, Brad chose seared scallops with corn salad.
He left dessert for me to surprise him. When we have gelato in Italy, Brad ALWAYS orders a scoop of something chocolate and a scoop of coffee. I came up with double chocolate brownies with a cream cheese espresso swirl.
That was topped with some Double Fudge Brownie Ben & Jerry's.
Next came some coffee ice cream with bourbon caramel sauce! This was a desert I was happy to skip!
Last night, Brad made me dinner. We had grilled steak and asparagus and a baked red potato. I am holding out for a week for gelato in Bologna!
