One More Week

I am pretty much ready to go. We have a very social weekend coming up, then 4 work days and we are off to San Diego the night before my flight. We'll have dinner with Shannon, and then Brad will drop me off at the crack of dawn and my adventure will begin. Poor Brad will return home to three weeks of work and hanging out with Ego for extra cuddle time.

I have been filling the freezer with stuff Brad can easily fix for dinner in my absence. I made a big pot of ragu with meatballs, sausage and pork. That should take care of one night a week. There are several containers of butternut squash lasagna, pulled pork, soup, meat and chicken to grill, and a couple of grilled pizzas we made that he can heat up. He'll have our usual salad nights with leftover chicken, and after that he is on his own!

My i-phone and laptop are accessorized for their visit to Bologna! If you are in Bologna, look for me in the piazza with these!

Palma, you are a master of organization! I have no idea how you find the time and energy to do all you do!

I shall be anxiously awaiting your blog entries from Bologna!

You must be SO excited! I will be following along with your adventures on your blog.

Barb Cabot:

You are such a thoughtful wife...all those meals. I know you will still be missed greatly.

Gerardina :

are you seeing my cousin in Bologna? how did you get the Italian flag design on your phone and laptop? nice touch btw!
Buon viaggio!!

Geraldina, Who is your cousin?

The phone and laptop are covered with products from www.GelaSkins.com

Gerardina :

Ida is. our fathers were brothers.

thanks for the website. LOL. i thought you had out done yourself (again) with an art project and fashioned the covers yourself.

have a great time and i look forward to the pics!

I sense more than a few trips through the taco bell drive thru for Brad - sigh I haven't thought of stocking up on anything for Paolo! I had better get busy.

Ego is probably happier with this arrangement rather than seeing both of you go off! That lap top cover is wild. Auguri! Enjoy!

Love the Italy flags!! SO COOL! You are the queen of organization. Can't wait to follow along with you once you are in Italy.
