I am pretty much ready to go. We have a very social weekend coming up, then 4 work days and we are off to San Diego the night before my flight. We'll have dinner with Shannon, and then Brad will drop me off at the crack of dawn and my adventure will begin. Poor Brad will return home to three weeks of work and hanging out with Ego for extra cuddle time.
I have been filling the freezer with stuff Brad can easily fix for dinner in my absence. I made a big pot of ragu with meatballs, sausage and pork. That should take care of one night a week. There are several containers of butternut squash lasagna, pulled pork, soup, meat and chicken to grill, and a couple of grilled pizzas we made that he can heat up. He'll have our usual salad nights with leftover chicken, and after that he is on his own!
My i-phone and laptop are accessorized for their visit to Bologna! If you are in Bologna, look for me in the piazza with these!
