I am taking the day off from blogging our day. It is a very complicated schedule with all of us up at 5, and out the door by 7, Sandi and Jerry on a parmigiano tour, my lesson with my teacher, and Ida and her cousin arriving any minute. We will be out ALL afternoon and evening and meeting Marcia and David for drinks, antipasti, and then a long late dinner! Something has to go with 5 hours of sleep a night! It can't be my homework, so email, Facebook, and blogging must take a backseat to eating drinking and showing Ida and her cousin Bologna!
Tomorrow is even worse (but FUN). A 7 am breakfast with Ida at their hotel, 8:30 taxi to Post office with Jerry before our market tour, a GTG of 11 Slow Travelers for lunch, then our cooking class and dinner.

We had a fun afternoon shopping in the market area, as well as in a few home, clothing, and shoe shops in Bologna. Ida, Ada and I met Marcia and David at six, and soon, Jerry and Sandi arrived. We had a two hour "happy hour" and then dinner at Merlo'.
Where can you eat and drink like this with 3 bottles of wine at home for 20E a person?
