It is after midnight. This marathon day began at 6. I had coffee at Albergo Porta San Mamolo with Ida and Ada, before meeting the others who were cooking today at the base of the towers.
We met with Rafaella and Francesca, and had a nice tour of the market and explanation of all the typical foods of Bologna.
At 1:00, we met for a Slow Travel GTG at Ristorante Al Sangiovese: Palma, Jerry, Sandi, Ida, her cousin, Ada, Marcia, David, Jan, Ken, Tom and Judy were all there for a wonderful lunch!

Then we spend from 4 until 11:30, cooking, eating, drinking and laughing with Rafaella, Marcello, Francesca. Palma, Jerry, Sandi, Marcia and David helped to prepare an ENDLESS meal.

Don't worry, I took 200 photos...I will blog all about our day when I am home next week!

How amazing that you were all able to be on Bologna at the same time - what a wonderful day!
Hard to believe that your three weeks in Bologna is coming to an end, it seems to have gone by so quickly. (I am sure Brad doesn't feel that it has been fast - he will be anxious to have you back at home).

This looks like a blast. What better than a cooking class with your friends that also love food. I know.. a cooking class in Italy!
