My friend Janie is quite an accomplished cook. Check out her blog, Panini Girl, for some wonderful Italian recipes, baking, and gorgeous photos of her travels to Italy. We decided it would be fun during her visit to make some hand made garganelli with the two tools I brought back from Bologna. Brad actually made a great batch of dough and rolled it out for us a couple of strips at a time, while Janie sat at the kitchen table and cut and rolled the garganelli. What fun!
While the pasta boiled, I made a quick and delicious sausage sauce with onion, white wine and cream. We were so excited to eat our creation!
Oh my! Grazie, Rafaella and Francesca! They were DELICIOUS! And Marcia, thanks for the second tool, so my friend and I could both play at the same time!
