We had a fun San Diego weekend as usual.
Friday night, Marcia and David, Jane and Ken, Charity, Bill and Sharon all met us for dinner at Buon Appetito in Little Italy. The lobster ravioli were divine!
Saturday, we strolled around the market, then met at noon for our afternoon at Del Mar race track. We enjoyed great picnic food and an afternoon in box seats David's friend provided us.
Then we met for dinner at the Vine. This involved Shannon's pate, burrata, wonderful salads and entrees!
Nancy, Shannon and I are getting excited about being in Venice together next May for a Grapehops Tour!
Shannon made two fabulous ice creams: Absinthe with chocolate and nutella with hazelnuts! Oh MY!
The weekend was a perfect get-away!
