Friday, we took a morning drive up the mountain to Asiago. Yes, as in the cheese. It is a lovely town in the mountains that is picture postcard cute, with colorful buildings, flowers everywhere, and a definite alpine feeling. We had coffee and pastry at a bakery/caffe, then explored the town's food shops. I actually found a nice sweater, as well as buying cheese and "rustic" polenta.

There is a definite Swiss look to the buildings. Very pretty place.
