I am always taking goodies and desserts to my interns at work. I love to bake, but Brad and I need to cool it on the sweets. When I am getting a pie, cake or platter of goodies wrapped on some Wednesday mornings before supervision, sometimes Brad looks at me longingly and says something like, "Your friends get all the good stuff!". So this week, he can take a larger platter of Halloween treats to work.
I made some peanut butter truffles and dipped them in white and orange candy melts for ghosts and pumpkins. Then I tried a few licorice-legged spiders (attach the licorice legs quickly before the melted chocolate hardens).
Don't worry, Brad! There are plenty for everyone...including YOU! Trick or Treat!
