My book club had lovely lunch at a new cafe on El Paseo in Palm Desert called Il Sogno.
It serves a variety of salads, soups sandwiches and panini, along with a great variety of baked goods. Il Sogno is very attractive inside with shelves and counters full of treats, chocolates, cookies, and gifts.
The food was good too! We enjoyed soup, salads, tuna melts and good bread.
The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was a beautiful ceramic planter on the counter, filled with a gorgeous arrangement of houseplants and fruit:
We celebrated Madonna's November birthday with flowers and coconut cake!
And they make a REALLY good cappucino in a huge cup! It is a great place for lunch, dinner, a snack or just a great cup of coffee!
