On Christmas Eve, we cracked two huge Dungeness Crabs. We had a Caesar Salad, then the crab with melted butter, bread and Raspberry Velvet. There was plenty of crab left over, so on Sunday, we enjoyed crab melt sandwiches with gruyere! YUM

On Christmas Day, after coffee, we had Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake and eggnog early. Then our brunch was Bacon Benedict and Cara cara oranges.

We never have a "real meal" on Christmas night, as we are always too full from brunch, so instead we grazed on cheeses, fennel salami and crackers (one of our favorite meals).

Sounds divine! Do you make your own hollandaise sauce? Recipe please! Love all your Luigi pix!

The crab (well, all of it) looks gorgeous. A question: what is the red item on the plate with the crab? Is that the raspberry velvet ? - I tried to look it up but only a cake recipe came up and it didn't look like that. (Not a familiar one in the UK).
