When I walk Luigi several times a days, I've been paying attention to the plants and flowers I pass in the neighborhood. The cactus are in bloom, and I never realized how many different kinds are in my neighbors' yards!
Of course it is not just cactus in bloom!

What a lovely post Palma. The pictures are life affirming and cheery. They made me feel so happy to see them. I've always thought the idea of a cactus flower somewhat magical and ironic...the thorny cactus and a lovely vulnerable flower together.

I agree with Barb.......a wonderful blog and way to "start the morning". The pictures reminded me of people......some are "prickly" on the OUTSIDE but beautiful when given a chance to "Bloom".
