When we arrived home from the Bay Area yesterday evening, we learned that it had been windy in the desert over the weekend. HOW Windy?
Well, this tree was uprooted, and resting on my car! As we pulled into the driveway from the airport, I calmly said, " OMG, There's a tree on my car!"
We propped the tree up on a garbage can, and slowly backed the car out from under it. This morning, it is laying across the driveway waiting for our gardner to come and take it away. My poor old car is fine, if you don't mind a few yellow blossoms!
Across the street, another tree is down!

Wow! That was definitely a wind storm. At least there wasn't more damage.

On one hand it is almost too bad - it could have been what you needed to get a new car. . . .
