Village Bistro

We arrived safely in San Jose on Wednesday evening, and checked into our hotel. Then we wandered around Santana Row in San Jose. After a little browsing and enjoying the flowers, we found ourselves at the Village California Bistro and Wine Bar.

We shared four small plated for a lovely dinner with a couple glasses each of nice wine.

A wedge salad; "Winter Bruschetta" (butternut squash with cinnamon, apricot-date paste, goat cheese with lavender honey); calamari, and bacon-wrapped scallops:

Santana Row is a great place to wander, shop, and EAT!
