Monday morning we left after breakfast to visit the beautiful city of Ravenna. Marcello joined us as we visited San Vitale and the Galla Placidia. We had some time for shopping (and a visit to the Post Office to buy shipping boxes for our laundry) before lunch at Melarancio.
After lunch Marcello took us to watch the ladies painting detailed designs at a ceramic maker in the town of Faenza.
We had a wonderful dinner at Biagi to end a long and interesting day.
