Good-bye Bologna, Hello Varenna

We left Bologna around 10 and stopped for lunch and a little shopping in Verona. We gave Jan and Les a nickel tour of Verona, then headed on to Varenna on Lago di Como. This is my fourth favorite spot in Italy! We drank LOTS of wine, coffee and grappa with panini for a light dinner. Tomorrow, sunshine, then some rain in our future, but we had perfect weather for two weeks in Bologna, so no complaints. We can use some down time!

I can't wait untilI hear ALL the stories! Have a wonderful and relaxing time now that you're both off duty.

connie:

Loved your daily "pods". Now I cant wait to hear more when you get back home. Enjoy the wine & reflection of another fabulous trip as you & Brad unwind.
