Palmabella's Passions

Saturday morning, we were up early, had some coffee, and headed to Carmel. I was feeling somewhat nostalgic, as my mom and I always took a summer weekend together to Carmel when I was younger. I showed Brad some of our favorite spots and we went to the Tuck Box for scones and coffee, like my mom and I used to do.

After our scones and coffee, it wasn't even 9:00, so the shops weren't yet open. We decided to walk up and down each of the side streets in Carmel to see all of the gorgeous flowers in bloom.

By 10:00 all the shops were open, and I had a mission: SWEATERS! Since I moved to the desert, I have very few. Every time we go somewhere cool (San Diego, San Francisco, Monterey, Oregon, and even Italy), I say, "I need some more sweaters!"

Carmel was the perfect place to shop for them! I found FOUR! Whoo Hoo! Time to enjoy a wine bar...
