On our last visit to Lake Come, we didn't have time to go across the lake from Varenna to Menaggio, so we decided to take the ferry from Bellagio to Menaggio before going back. We were pleasantly surprised to find very few tourists, and a lovely waterfront.
There is a wonderful lively piazza, which was our first stop. We enjoyed a coffee to perk up.
We walked around town, especially enjoying some of the charming shops on the main street, and the lovely peach-colored church.
We really liked Menaggio, and would return for another visit!
