Our final dinner was at yet another of my favorite Bologna spots: Antica Osteria Romagnola. I ate there twice last year, and knew our guests would enjoy the fabulous food! First we were served an array of antipasti. The balsamic cippolini onions were amazing along with marinated veggies, mordatella and the freshest ricotta you ever tasted!

Les made a lovely toast to the group leaders, and we toasted back to the group. More food arrived. The first courses were also quite wonderful, including the veggie lasagna!

The entrees exceeded all expectations! We covered the selections of veal beef, lobster, and roast maiolino (baby pork) for two (more like for 4!)

This may be the best pork EVER!

Our waiter placed before each of us, a wine glass filled with the most heavenly concoction of chocolate, espresso and ice cream in a smooth milkshake form with some kind of liqueur in it. OMG! We lapped them up!

That didn't stop a few from ordering more dessert!

We gave our group parting gifts to remember their stay in Bologna, and returned to the hotel for final good-byes to those with early flights. It was a perfect finale for our 10 days in Bologna!
