We had a free morning and early afternoon for everyone to shop, go to the big weekend mercato, visit museums on their own, or relax. Brad and I took off right after breakfast for the market! Within an hour, I had purchased a long cotton nightgown, a roll of packing tape for 1 euro, and some jewelry. We stopped at a caffe for a latte.

Back around the piazza, we found an enoteca for some wine and a snack. I'll explain the card I am holding later...

We took a long nap, then showered and got ready to walk our guests to Piazza Santo Stefano for drinks.

It was a short walk to dinner at Drogheria della Rosa, another favorite place for good food. We were greeted warmly by owner, Emanuele, and Prosecco flowed freely. Antipasti of mordatella, prosciutto, salami and fresh mozzarella were served. We enjoyed tortelloni with zucchini blossoms, filetto with veggies and a balsamic glaze and of course, plenty of vino.

After dinner, Emanuele brought us a bottle of Fragola, a strawberry liquore. YUM! Don't we all look happy?

The ladies got roses, and we had just one more stop on our way home...GELATO at Sorbetteria Castiglione, my FAVORITE gelato ANYWHERE!

Itz liked the chocolate!
