Do You Shop on the Internet?

Most of us shop for good airfares online. What ELSE do you shop for on the internet?

Shopping online saves time and often money! It is about convenience, or finding products that wouldn't be available at local merchants. Are we becoming lazy, or just more adept at clicking a mouse to get a deal? For many items, I still prefer to see, touch, feel or try on the item in person, however...

I buy clothes from Chicos (only if my local store doesn't have an item in the size or color I want), and have ordered from Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms.

I've bought shoes from Zappos and Online shoes.

I also buy specialty food items, especially from King Arthur Flour.

I have purchased kitchen/cooking items from Sur la Table.

I've purchased maps from Trektools.

I bought my i-Pad online, and of course I order from Amazon, i-Books and i-Tunes.

The Italian flag stickers on my laptop, i-Phone and i-Pad were purchased from Gelaskins.com.

I have purchased a camera from an online site.

Brad found his car online.

How about you? What do you buy online?

I'm one for online shopping! I've bought a few cameras online, books of course, and clothing (although only if I know how the shop's sizes run) and I've used Craigslist successfully for purchasing a headboard, footboard, dresser and some other items. I've also sold a set of antique andirons on Craigslist. I also do shopping for work online (videos, books, stationery items, etc). It's a godsend because it saves so much time.

Great post idea!

PS: Your mentioning of Sur La Table: you had a past post using a twist tie for stuffed chicken breasts. I wanted to thank you. I've purchased these and LOVED them. Filed under "why didn't I think of that"!

We buy a lot of items on line. I haven't bought a lot of clothes or shoes but I'm going to try Zappos for the first time this week. We have bought hiking boots on line once we have a pair that we like and running shoes.

I buy most of my camera gear on-line. I bought my netbook on-line.

We've even bought a greenhouse on-line. Actually twice - once long ago via a catalog and then our most recent one. We also bought a set of deck sprinklers from Amazon that we use in the greenhouse.
