We've had four lovely, relaxing days so far with Giulia and her family at Valle Nuova. The weather is perfect, the sky is blue, the hills are green with a few trees beginning to look like autumn, and the views are stunning. We have enjoyed great meals and pleasant conversations with our hostess, and other guests. Friday night we had a wonderful meal at the locanda (details & photos when I get home).
On Saturday, our friend, Judith, came to visit from "over the hill" in Citta di Castello.
We even managed to steal Giulia away for a leisurely lunch and and coffee in a quiet piazza. Good food, some wine, and LOTS of laughter!

That must be Osteria del Cucco. I love, love that place. One of the ones I have most not forgotten. That must have been a fun time with Giulia and Judith.
