Monday morning, a few sprinkles, then sun and big puffy white clouds. We visited a property we were scouting for our Palmabella's Italy Tours, then headed to Macerata. This is a sweet walled town with several impressive buildings and an amphitheater. We had a wonderful lunch, and wandered.
Back in Ascoli, we did some afternoon shopping, ate pizza for dinner and met a group of wine producers. Yet ANOTHER bottle of free wine, (along with the one we paid for). After dinner we were served some of the local fennel-flavored Meletti liquore home made by the chef.
Brad says I was verbose...
This is the friendliest Italian town we've ever seen!
