On Monday morning we visited the beautiful property (scouting for future Palmabella's Italy groups) Borgo Storco Seghetti Panichi. This is a beautiful property, about 15 minutes outside of Ascoli in the small village of Castel di Lama. This is a gorgeous 17th century villa, and is now a beautiful hotel, complete with a large pond, gardens, pool, chapel, five lovely apartment suites, and a restaurant.
I first read about this property in the September issue of Italia magazine. The property is owned by a real princess, Giulia Panichi Pignarelli and her stunning daughter Stefania. We were given "royal" treatment and a tour by charming Maria Rita Giovannelli, the Sales Manager of the property. She even showed us the two story apartments, which are lovely with small kitchens, beautiful sitting rooms, bedrooms, amazing baths and comfortable terraces. The main house has six guest rooms.
