Palmabella's Passions

Last weekend was the first ever Palm Desert Italian Festival. Of course we attended, even though I was on pain meds and couldn't eat or drink anything except some very good gelato!

We met Nancy and Bill for lunch, and ran into other friends as well. There were 4000 people in attendance, so I hope it will become an annual event. It was a beautiful day, and a great turnout. Hopefully, next year there will be more booths, more food, and even more people.

We hung out for a couple of hours, and Brad enjoyed a sausage sandwich, beer and gelato. I came home with Giovanni. He speaks Italian, and he even sings two songs in Italian if you squeeze his paw!
