We drove to Las Vegas last Wednesday after work, and arrived around 9:15, grabbed a quick bite and gambled. When we woke up Thursday morning, it was a beautiful mild, sunny day, and we had a great view from our room.
We picked up Joy at the airport at 11:30, came back and had brunch at Sugar. After a nap and then happy hour at our favorite bar, we headed to the Vintner Grill for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was chilly out, but the patio was beautiful with fall trees full of lanterns.
Our first course was a Caesar Salad wrapped in prosciutto.
Joy had a traditional turkey dinner, and Brad and I had a delicious veal dish with marsala, mushrooms with pasta with oil and garlic.
Dessert was a lovely lemon cheesecake with blueberry sauce.
Friday involved some shopping, but the Fashion Show mall wasn't too bad. We hit the Apple store for Brad's new i-Phone4s, and Joy bought an i-Pad2. I had some fun in Sur la Table, Chicos and got a couple of gifts.
Friday night, Brad's gambling luck improved, when he was dealt this hand:
He was feeling lucky, so he took a photo just in case! It was his turn to get a Royal Flush!

Casey says Brad owes us half of that for warming those stupid machines up the weekend before! They broke us! LOL! Glad you guys had a great trip!!
