An AMAZING new shop opened in Palm Desert, and I couldn't be happier! The Savory Spice Shop is my new favorite cooking paradise!

It is a wonderland of spices, extracts, herbs, and hard to find items for cooking, BBQing, or baking. Their prices are amazingly reasonable! You can taste or sniff to your heart's content, and the knowledgeable staff can advise you on how to use any product.
There is a wall of EVERY kind of dried chili pepper imaginable (whole, crushed or ground).

There are blends and rubs for chicken, seafood, pork, beef and BBQ.

The selection of herbs is overwhelming!

Lots of salts, stocks and dried mushrooms too. No more carrying porcini home from Italy!

Though I love to cook, BAKING is where my heart is! The baking section is lovely, with flavored sugars, exotic spices and extracts, oh my!

Finally, for cooks who love ethnic foods, there is a wide range of Indian, Thai, Asian, curries, and exotic ingredients. There's the fennel pollen I looked all over Italy for! And there is also a party on a shelf with a collection of dip and dressing mixes!

We don't have a Nordstroms or a Sur la Table, or a Whole Foods, but we now have a Savory Spice Shop! Whoo Hoo! I am one happy shopper!

Wow Palma - certainly your kind of store.
It is amazing really that a store could exist selling just herbs and spices. I hope they do very well.
