There were so many holiday get-togethers, I've lost track! One night, when friends were coming over, I needed a quick dessert. I came up with this bombe.
Line a shallow bowl with plastic wrap hanging over the edge. Lay soaked lady fingers (savoiardi) around the edge, slightly overlapping. I dipped mine in limoncello, and Italian cherry syrup from Bologna.
Filling: Beat together:
8 oz cream cheese
1 package white chocolate instant pudding
1 1/2 cups milk
Fold in one tub of Cool Whip (12 oz)
Cover top with more soaked lady fingers.
Chill for 6 hours.
You can use any flavor pudding, or soak the cookies in anything you like!
