On our way back from Slow Bowl, we stopped for Sunday Brunch in downtown Santa Barbara with Jerry and Paul. It was a picture perfect day!

Our first choice of restaurants was closed for the Super Bowl, so we ate at The Hungry Cat.

Brad began with oysters:

All three of the guys had fish tacos, and I had Crab Benedict with bacon and kale:

Mine looks the best, doesn't it?

It was a picture perfect day. I think we were just down the street eating fish and chips. Yours does look very yummy! What a nice way to end that weekend. I'm still thinking about the fun we had together.

Would love to try your Crab Benedict. Is it on two crab cakes? I have finally mastered the sauce, tho' it took me several tries.

Yours does look the absolute best! The Hungary Cat in Santa Barbara is delicious, I've been there a few times during my time spent soaking up the beauty and sun of the area. If you like an excellent brunch as well you should check out the Beach Break Cafe down in the Harbor-so good and their eggs benedict is by far the best I have ever had! Love that my favorite hotel is close by-the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Inexpensive, leaving me a ton of money to spend on food!
