Connie's Birthday Weekend

My dear friend, Connie visited us over the weekend, and we had a ball celebrating her birthday week. She arrived on Friday evening and we had a simple soup and salad dinner.

Saturday night we began at the wine bar, meeting up with Linda, Charlene and Julie.

After our appetizers and vino, we hit the casino for a little gambling. Brad was the big winner at $260.

Sunday, we had breakfast at Keedy's.

Connie's birthday dinner was a stuffed pork roast, roasted pear soup and carrots. She declared it "one of her all-time favorite Palma meals"!

We ended the evening with presents and vanilla cookie bars with cream cheese frosting. When we weren't looking, Luigi stole FOUR of the cookie bars!
